In 1986, the Italian architect, art director and designer Piero Lissoni, together with Nicoletta Canesi, founded the interdisciplinary studio Lissoni Associati in Milan, focusing on architecture as well as interior and product/light design.

Projects extend globally to include private villas and yachts, residential and hospitality buildings such as Casa Fantini, Conservatorium Hotel, Edition Hotel, Grand Hotel Billia, Mamilla Hotel, Roomers Hotel, Shilla Stay Hotels, The Middle House, The Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah, the restaurants Filippo La Mantia, Moriki, Tunes, museum shows at Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, Palazzo della Ragione and Palazzo Reale, the planning of offices, headquarters, factories and showrooms for a variety of clients such as Altagamma, Benetton, Boffi, De Padova, Ferrari, Glas Italia, Lema, Living Divani, Porro.
