Mind where you place your hands
At Salone del Mobile in Milano 2026, Olivari unveiled five new collections born from a dialogue with some of the most authoritative figures in contemporary design: MISS — design by Philippe Starck, SIX — design by Draw Studio, MAGMA — design by Patricia Urquiola, ROCK — design by Arik Levy, and INTRO — design by Snøhetta.
The stand became a space for encounter and dialogue, where the act of touch was an integral part of the experience. Architects, design professionals and visitors had the opportunity to discover the new collections up close and explore the thinking behind them, observing their forms, finishes and textures while perceiving their quality through direct contact with the hand.
- MISS, Philippe Starck
A delicate and slender door handle, essential in form yet rich in sensitivity, capable of expressing lightness, elegance and a discreet presence within the space.
- SIX, Draw Studio
A geometric sign inspired by twentieth-century Italian architecture: light, slender and ergonomic, it reinterprets the hexagon into an elegant and perfectly contemporary form.
- MAGMA, Patricia Urquiola
A living, material surface inspired by the primordial force of the earth, where irregular textures and tactile sensitivity turn touch into a direct encounter with matter.
- ROCK, Arik Levy
A sculptural presence with faceted surfaces that capture light and engage with the hand, combining functional art, expressive strength and ergonomics in a single gesture.
- INTRO, Snøhetta
An organic and fluid form that naturally accompanies the movement of the hand, transforming the act of opening into an essential, intuitive and deeply contemporary architectural experience.
With these five new collections, Olivari once again confirms its vision of the handle as an architectural and cultural element, capable of transforming an everyday gesture into a design experience.

Salone was also the occasion to announce Olivari’s participation in the upcoming Biennale Arte as technical sponsor, alongside artist Alberto Scodro at the Venice Pavilion.
