Time

 2004
M192

Time is a door handle defined by an essential, parallelepiped geometry. The lever, fashioned from a rectangular-section metal bar, integrates with a low round rose that emphasizes its formal clarity. The assembly by juxtaposition of the elements produces a rigorous, measured aesthetic in which proportions and surfaces interact in balance. A design handle of euclidean character, conceived for contemporary interiors with a sober, architectural language.

TYPOLOGY

Door handles - Round

Time,
 2004

Time interprets the door handle as a pure, parallelepiped form, in which geometric rigor and simplicity coincide.

— Alessandro, Francesco Mendini, main staircase in Bisazza mosaic, Groninger Museum (NL), 2010

With Time, the design handle reduces the sign to the essential, entrusting proportions with its expressive value.
