Great enthusiasm at BAU 2023 edition for the project SYNERGIES, which aroused great interest due to its focus on sustainability and collaboration with prestigious Made in Italy companies such as Henraux, Poltrona Frau and Riva1920
“SYNERGIES is a project that proposes the respectful and virtuous use of natural materials. Processed by the best companies in their specific field for their own products, surplus marble, wood and leather are recovered for smaller objects, such as door handles, in which the noble and valuable material is fully revalued.”
These are the words of Antonio Olivari, CEO of Olivari, who shared this thought and passion for work and for things well done with the managers of the partner companies, developing with them three door handle models with a strong character:
- Henraux, owner of the marble quarries chosen by Michelangelo to sculpt ‘La Pieta’, for the rational Bau door handle, by Studio Niruk
- Poltrona Frau, who skillfully processes leather for their furniture and also for the interiors of famous cars and luxury yachts, for the comfortable Club handle, by Vico Magistretti
- Riva1920, with over 40,000-year-old Kauri wood extracted from New Zealand soil, for the sculptural handle Chelsea, by Jean Nouvel
All this was coordinated by Olivari, who provided his experience of over 100 years in brass machining.
