Bond

 1994
M163

Bond was born from the desire to overcome the conventional geometry and ergonomics of the door handle, transforming it into a welcoming shape that naturally accompanies the gesture of the hand. The continuous profile, free of edges, makes the metal visually soft and reassuring. A designer handle that introduces irony and expressive freedom, questioning the rigor of modernity through a contemporary and surprising sign.

The metal, free of edges, seems to turn into a soft and reassuring material, almost as if it were rubber.

A thread of irony in the design project always serves to break free from the rigors of our Calvinist idea of Modernity. — Andrea Branzi
