Whistleblowing

Olivari B. S.p.A.

Introduction to Whistleblowing

OLIVARI B. S.p.A. fosters an open corporate culture, marked by ethics, transparency and accountability, and inspired by the Company’s values: for this reason it asks its people, such as directors, executives, supervisory bodies, managers, employees and other collaborators, and all its partners, to operate in full compliance with Laws and Regulations, Code of Ethics and Human Rights.
The Company strongly encourages its stakeholders to report (so-called whistleblowing) any improper, dishonest, or illegal activity – potential, highly probable, or already committed – as well as conduct that may cause harm or prejudice, including image damage, to OLIVARI B. S.p.A.
Excluded from the scope of the regulations are reports concerning personal interests of the reporter, complaints or grievances of a personal or business nature, claims or instances that fall under the discipline of the employment relationship. In case of unfounded reports, made in bad faith or with gross negligence, OLIVARI B. S.p.A. reserves the right to take action to defend its interests and protect the aggrieved parties.

Management of reports

OLIVARI B. S.p.A. has appointed for the management of Whistleblowing reports a Committee of external Experts in whistleblowing regulations, organizational models ex Legislative Decree 231/01 and management systems, Union law and industrial relations and labor law, with characteristics of autonomy, impartiality and independence with respect to the processes that could be the subject of reports. It has also made available an external digital platform, managed by a specialized third party, in order to ensure the effectiveness and confidentiality of the whistleblowing process and provide broad and indiscriminate access to all those who wish to make a report. The Company encourages whistleblowers to give preference to identified and non-anonymous whistleblowing in order to streamline and make investigations more effective, although anonymous whistleblowing is equally accepted, provided it is fully substantiated and referenced.

In order to ensure the effectiveness of the reporting process and provide broad and indiscriminate access to all those who want to make a report, it has made available a plurality of communication channels alternative to each other:

  • IT platform accessible at the following link: olivari.wallbreakers.it
  • Oral reporting to the Committee of Experts (after requesting an appointment through the platform or alternatively at the dedicated e-mail address: whistleblowing@cnvv.it

Monitoring on the functionality of the above communication channels is ensured by the Whistleblowing Committee, which must be contacted in case of any malfunction.
