Jean Nouvel – was born in Fumel in the south of France. He opened his first office in 1970, where continues to operate today. Since then, a relentless work that led him to achieve numerous awards, most recently the Pritzker Prize in 2008.

In 1976 his first striking achievement, the Dick House (Saint-André-les-Vergers, Aube, 1976) seen as the exemplification of what used to be called “critical architecture”. The cooperation with Olivari starts since 2005.
